Kanha National Park

Kanha National Park is the largest Wildlife Sanctuary in Asia. Kanha is original Kipling country, about which he wrote in his unforgettable classic Jungle Book. Due to depletion of the tiger population, the area was developed as an absolute sanctuary in 1952. Kanha National Park was created as in 1995 by a special law.
How to reach
Nearest airport is Nagpur (266 kms), nearest railhead is Jabalpur (169 kms). Kanha National Park is well-connected by road with important places of the state. Regual buses are available from Jabalpur to Kanha.
